That is: I believe you can apply an authenticode signature to a 16-bit app, but nothing will ever check it. Similarly, you can add any kind of resource data you like to a 16-bit application but Vista isn't going to go looking for a manifest there. The solution would appear to be to turn off UAC or to upgrade to XP.

But when i tried to run on a windows XP and Vista i get a warning message "trying to write data to hard disk or running a 16 bit application" how do i avoid this.
